Therapeutic Yoga at Cowboy Healthcare is different from any other yoga class you've taken — because it's designed by and supervised by licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy. Every sequence is built around restoring movement quality, not just achieving poses.

Classes are structured around functional movement patterns: hinging, squatting, rotating, reaching. Each session improves mobility at joints that are commonly restricted after injury, surgery, or long periods of inactivity, while simultaneously building the stability and strength needed to protect those joints.

This class is ideal for anyone managing a chronic condition, recovering from injury or surgery, dealing with persistent pain, or simply returning to movement after a long time away. Modifications are built into every posture so that participants at any stage of recovery can participate safely and effectively.

Because our instructors are also licensed PTs, they can identify movement compensations in real time and provide individualised cues that a standard yoga teacher would not be trained to give.
